Experienced people, reliable delivery and the equipment to handle projects of all sizes—from ongoing maintenance to major civil infrastructure.
Flostate Plumbing & Civil was created through the merger of MJC Plumbing & Roofing Pty Ltd and Prowess Plumbing Pty Ltd.
By combining the two businesses together, Matt & Josh Cock have built a company based on strong work ethic, integrity and quality workmanship. Flostate combines hands on experience with new age thinking and plumbing technology, not only on the tools but in the office, embracing that technology is driving the future.
With more than 35 years of combined experience across a broad range of plumbing fields, our work has taken us to many parts of NSW and QLD. We have built a company focused on Commercial/Industrial Plumbing and Maintenance, combined with all aspects of Civil Plumbing and Earthworks
Our vision is to continue growing sustainably, expanding our capabilities while maintaining the quality of work and personal service our clients have come to expect.
Both Companies (MJC & Prowess) have built long term lasting relationships with clients from Sydney, the Hunter, New England, & Central West. By combining the experience, qualifications and capabilities of both businesses – including our Hunter Water accreditation – Flostate can provide an even stronger service to our existing and new clients with the help of the team we have built and will continue to grow.
At Flostate, things run a little differently. Innovation, safety and quality workmanship are at the heart of what we do, but the health and wellbeing of our team are just as important. We work hard to create a safe and open workplace where mental wellbeing, physical health and looking out for one another are genuinely encouraged.
Giving back to the community also fills our cup. We are proud to support local charities, race days and fundraising events whenever we can.
Having grown up in a small country town, community spirit and looking after others have always been deeply embedded in who we are. Now, as proud Tamworth locals with young families of our own, we feel privileged to be in a position to give back to the community that supports us.
Flostate Plumbing & Civil provides civil, commercial and industrial plumbing services across Tamworth and regional NSW. From ongoing maintenance and emergency repairs to major infrastructure projects, we have the experienced team, equipment and capability to deliver the job safely and reliably.
Flostate has experience across all aspects of civil plumbing, from repairs and upgrades through to the construction of major water, sewer, stormwater, gas and fire services.
Our completed work includes the Tamworth Aquatic Centre sewer realignment, the HomeCo Tuggerah sewer main relocation, the Palace Street Denman stormwater infrastructure and water main upgrade, and civil services for the 90-lot Marmong Waters development in Newcastle.
With our Hunter Water accreditation, experienced team and own plant and equipment, we can work alongside councils, builders, engineers and other contractors to deliver complex civil projects safely and efficiently.
We install, repair and upgrade water, sewer and stormwater mains for councils, subdivisions, commercial developments and infrastructure projects.
Our capabilities include new mains, live connections, sewer realignments, manholes, service connections, stormwater infrastructure, fire services, pressure testing and commissioning. Previous projects include a directional-bored rising sewer main at Galston, the Victoria Park backup water supply system and the Tamworth Aquatic Centre sewer realignment.
Our current and recent work also includes major underground water, sewer, stormwater and pressure services for the Double R and Arcadia developments.
Commercial and industrial plumbing maintenance is a major part of what we do. Flostate works with councils, aged-care facilities, industrial sites, event facilities and other organisations to keep their buildings and essential services operating.
Our client base includes Tamworth Regional Council, the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre, Tamworth Regional Livestock Exchange, RFBI Moonbi House and Baiada.
Our experience covers new installations, commercial kitchens, hot-water systems, drainage and sewer repairs, backflow prevention, thermostatic mixing valves, gas services, amenities upgrades and ongoing planned and reactive maintenance.
Previous projects include the full plumbing, drainage and gas renovation of the RFBI Moonbi House commercial kitchen, commercial hot-water installations and sewer upgrades.
Flostate has experience delivering repairs, upgrades and new infrastructure for sewer pump stations, water supply systems, treatment facilities and associated pressure pipework.
Our work has included the Tamworth Sports Dome sewer pump-out station upgrade and the Victoria Park backup water supply system, which involved two live connections into existing 150mm water mains.
Our capabilities include pumps, valves, pressure pipework, bypass arrangements, live connections, access structures, testing and commissioning. We understand the planning and coordination required when working on live infrastructure where interruptions must be carefully managed.
Flostate provides CCTV drain inspections and high-pressure water jetting for sewer and stormwater systems. This allows us to clear blockages and properly investigate the condition of the pipework rather than relying on guesswork.
We use CCTV equipment to identify damaged pipes, tree-root intrusion, displaced joints, collapsed sections and recurring blockage points. Our team regularly completes drainage investigations and blockage clearing for councils, aged-care facilities, commercial kitchens, nursing homes and industrial properties.
Once the problem has been identified, we can provide practical recommendations for repair, replacement or ongoing maintenance.
With our own excavators, operators, service vehicles and support equipment, Flostate can complete the earthworks required as part of plumbing and civil projects.
Our capabilities include trenching, service locating, bulk and detailed excavation, pipe bedding, backfilling, compaction, thrust blocks and site reinstatement. Our plant ranges from smaller excavators suited to repair and maintenance work through to larger machinery for major civil construction.
Having our own plant and experienced operators allows us to coordinate the work efficiently and respond quickly when unexpected site conditions arise.
Flostate provides planned, reactive and emergency plumbing maintenance for councils, commercial properties, industrial sites, aged-care facilities and community buildings throughout the region.
Our work includes water leaks, sewer and stormwater blockages, hot-water systems, pumps, valves, backflow devices, thermostatic mixing valves, commercial amenities and urgent breakdowns.
We understand that plumbing failures can interrupt operations and affect staff, residents and the public. Our team is equipped to investigate the problem, communicate clearly and get essential services operating again as quickly as practical.
